Yesterday I had my annual FAA physical, and my near vision that had received a dubious pass on previous physicals, in part due to my memorization of line 9 of the eye chart, did not go unnoticed by my new doctor.
And so I am the proud owner of 3 pairs of Costco 125 cheater glasses, which will now become an integral part of my flight gear.
Sigh.
